A cybersecurity dashboard designed for clarity, speed, and intelligence—built to unify threat data, simplify risk visibility, and empower security teams with real-time decision-making. With research-driven UX, a scalable design system, and inclusive interactions, this product reshapes how analysts and CISOs navigate and act on critical cyber risks.

Concept & Objective

The core objective was to build a centralized dashboard that acts as a visual intelligence hub for security professionals. As a product designer, I focused on crafting a system that transforms fragmented, complex cybersecurity data into clear, actionable insights. The dashboard was designed to reflect trust, speed, and compliance as core pillars.


By leveraging scalable UI components, modular layouts, and a well-defined color hierarchy, the design empowers users to respond faster, prioritize smarter, and align with security protocols—making it both visually intuitive and functionally powerful.

Problems & Challenges

Users struggled with overwhelming volumes of threat data scattered across multiple platforms, leading to delayed response times and poor risk prioritization. Most dashboards lacked real-time threat updates or clarity around regulatory penalties. I discovered through research that visual overload was a core problem—too much noise, too little insight.


To address this, I applied Hick’s Law to reduce decision fatigue, used proximity to group related modules, and designed a simplified UI with clearly distinguishable risk levels. The challenge was not just making data accessible—but making it instantly meaningful in high-pressure scenarios.

Design Process

I started with user interviews involving CISOs and threat analysts to map real user journeys, uncover pain points, and define functional goals. The dashboard’s architecture was built around card-based modular layouts for task-focused workflows and prioritization. I used a minimalist design strategy enhanced by strategic contrast, color coding for severity, and scalable components.


Accessibility played a key role—ensuring compliance with WCAG guidelines using contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, and assistive tooltips. Key principles like Fitts’s Law (for fast interactions), Hick’s Law (to reduce overload), and consistency (via reusable visual tokens) made the experience not just usable—but confidently efficient.
