Revamped Pinochle’s outdated website into a modern, responsive, and conversion-focused digital experience—boosting user engagement, brand trust, and product adoption. This redesign also introduced a user-friendly iSOC dashboard to simplify cybersecurity monitoring and improve product visibility and usability across devices.

Concept & Objective

The main objective was to transform Pinochle’s legacy website into a high-performing digital platform with a modern, visually coherent, and responsive design. As a product designer, my focus was on enhancing usability, improving content discoverability, and creating a clear user journey that leads to action. Integrating the iSOC dashboard was a major part of the challenge—requiring visual simplification of complex security insights. I adopted a clean design language, strong visual hierarchy, and performance-focused UI elements to deliver a cohesive brand and product experience across devices.

3

Problems & Challenges

Pinochle’s previous website suffered from a dated interface, confusing navigation, and minimal responsiveness—leading to a high bounce rate and poor user engagement. Critical content was buried under complex menus, resulting in low lead conversion and weak product awareness. The iSOC product, though valuable, was hard to understand due to complex data presentation. To resolve these issues, I applied information hierarchy principles, used the Law of Proximity for grouping related data, and restructured the information architecture for intuitive navigation—all while optimizing responsiveness and brand consistency across platforms.

4

Design Process

I began with a comprehensive competitor analysis to benchmark industry best practices. From there, I developed low-fidelity wireframes for structural clarity and progressed to high-fidelity prototypes, conducting iterative usability testing to fine-tune user interactions. The visual design followed a clean, modern aesthetic with branded typography, consistent iconography, and intentional whitespace for readability. CTAs were redesigned using Fitts’s Law for ease of interaction, especially on mobile. iSOC was integrated as an interactive dashboard, designed with color-coded risk levels, real-time insights, and automated recommendations—driven by minimalist UI, contrast, and user-centric feedback loops.

6

Business Impact & Results

60% revenue increase due to better user flow, higher engagement, and clear conversion paths.

40% reduction in bounce rate as a result of simplified navigation and intuitive layout.

50% growth in mobile traffic driven by responsive design and improved mobile performance.

35% improvement in SEO rankings, fueled by technical performance, accessibility, and structured metadata.

70% increase in iSOC adoption, thanks to a clean, interactive dashboard and product visibility.

Stronger brand identity achieved through consistent use of visual language, layout grids, and branded UI tokens.
